Intended for: Y6 teachers, those supporting end of KS2 assessment and KS2 Leads

The session will be informed by the DfE Writing Framework and will cover:

• Feedback from the 2025 – 2026 KS2 writing moderation cycle
• Key messages from the STA documentation
• Sharing of good practice in writing to inform high quality planning, teaching and learning in writing across the academic year
• Opportunity for developmental discussion supported by moderators.

Please note:  To support discussion and sharing of practice, participants are asked to bring pupil workbooks in writing for one pupil on track to meet the expected standard.
