Ladywood School and Outreach Service is situated in Little Lever, Bolton. The school is an Outstanding Special School catering for primary aged pupils with complex learning difficulties and, or autistic spectrum disorder. Currently the school has 103 pupils based in 12 classes. Alongside of the school, we also offer an Outreach Service that provides support for children in Mainstream settings across Bolton. The service caters for pupils with a range of additional needs from 3 to 19 years. In addition to this, Ladywood is a Teaching school and works closely with a group of Partner Schools, the Local Authority and a group of Higher Education Institutions. Collectively we are known as Ladywood Teaching School Alliance.

The members of the Alliance will be working in partnership to deliver high quality support for teachers and leaders at all stages in their careers. This includes Teaching and Learning Programmes, Leadership Development and School to School support including designation and deployment of Specialist Leaders of Education.
